Need drivers for laptop

Try www.mecerpc.co.za/mecer-laptop-specification.php?laptop=17719

If you know the make and model of the Ethernet, Audio, & video,
You could go to the various manufacturer's WEB site to download the drivers
OR
Try www.driverguide.com

Download the drivers from a friend's computer who has Internet access and copy them to your computer.

Dvd-ram

i would uninstall and reinstall all drivers if you still have the original manufacturer cd, if not go to the website.. i had a similar issue but i got it to finally read the dvd's again.. if you changed your os system then it could be a compatibility issue..

you may also want to check the properties on the drive you are speaking of and make all the settings go to the default ones.. goto my computer and look for your drive, then right click on it to see properties and options to adjust settings to your drive..

it may not be dead yet, especially if it's not old.. hope this helps

Drive plays CDs but not DVDs

I am assuming it is a DVD drive ...

1.) Try the drive on another computer to see if it is working.. If not the drive is damaged.. Replace it..

2.) If it is working the the problem is your computer software.. BACK UP and format the drive then reinstall your windows , drivers and software, verify the drive works :)

3.) Try the drive on a different port on your main board,, If still nothing please let me know
