I had the same problem with my Bissell carpet cleaner. I tried all the recommendations but nothing worked. After reading all the blogs, I discovered that many people had the same problem. Fortunately, I still had the receipt from Costco which they honored and gave me a full refund. I was ready to throw it in the trash.

My Bissell Proheat2 Model 9200 does not spray cleaner. I took all the hoses(tubes) off and cleaned them. They had the dried cleaner in them. Still does not spray. Could it be the pump?

Bissell carpet cleaner proheat 9200 does not despense water...opened inside and found some tubes with fluid some without, what does the pump look like? i think it may be what is stopping the process.

I have bissell proheat 2x 9200 no water or cleaning solution is dispensing from bottom of machine hand dispenser is not working too. how can I troubleshoot it?

Ensure you have water in tank and solution (or water in solution tank). When you start the vacuum up, the pump starts to prime itself. If you have air in the system, it takes a little longer to prime. Allow the vacuum to run for 1 minute before attempting to pull the trigger. Then pull the trigger.

If this doesn't work, you'll need to open the unit up and check the hoses for any clogs, and next test the pump to see if it is functioning.

My rug cleaner was leaving streaks but I didn't know how to take it apart to see what was wrong. I read the technical services page and once I knew how to take the plastic front off I cleaned it and it fixed my problem. Thank you very much.
