How To Set Your Time Zone
Time Zones around the world are identified by how many hours they are off-set from Greenwich Mean Time. US time zones are 5 to 9 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time and are identified as:
Eastern -5 Central -6 Mountain -7 Pacific -8 Alaska -9
Your SkyScan model 31981 is pre-set to Pacific Time. To set your clock to your time press and hold the mode button for 2 seconds. The off-set hours will appear and blink in the clock window. Press the up or down button to designate your time zone. Press the alarm button to exit time zone setting mode.

Late to the party I guess. Lots of entries for setting the clock, but not for the alarm. Press the plus or minus button. That's it. After you have the time set, you can then press the ALARM button above the WAVE/SET button to turn it on.

Starting in time mode:

1. Press "MODE" (brings up alarm time) 2. Press "SET" (toggles between the four zones)


P - Pacific

M - Mountain

C - Central

E - Eastern

3. Once the desired time zone is set, press "MODE" to return to the clock.

Press the Mode button to display the alarm time then press the Adjust button till you get tot the corret time zone, press Mode again once have found the coreect timezone.
