Question about AEG Lavamat 74640 Front Load Washer
How do i re set an EFO code (Anti Flood System) on an AEG LAVAMAT 76819 The problem has been sorted just need to know how to reset
Thanks for any advice
You just need to mop up the water inside the cabinet to allow the float switch in the base to reset.check there is nothing stopping the float returning to the floor. a small leak from the door seal can cause enough of a leak to trip it . clean the door glass and seal to stop this. or change the door seal.

Thank you fo your tip wilky29 This seemed to be the problem with our washing machine too. After emptying the cabinet of water we also had to tilt the washing machine a little for the switch to reset.
Me too, after tipping the machine forward to drain - all was fine - thanks for your advice
Brilliant it worked, just saved me a call out charge
YESSS! tilting the machine was the answer to a water pump that never stopped pumping. The water in the bottom of the machine triggered the emergency procedure and would not stop until the sensors detect no more water. Thanks!
Dear sir, Mrs this was very helpfull I paniced a bit...but now it runs again
thank you for your advice

I did exactly what both John Wilkinson and Cheg76 recommended and it worked. Thanks John. and Cheg76.
