First try and see if those battery were dead and try a different kind. If that doesn't work notify the person you bought it from or the store about it and ask for a trade in.

SOURCE: On an E 100 Razor scooter, the battery charger shows charged

We had the same problem that I found to have a very simple fix. It seems all that needed to be done was hold in the reset button a few seconds while the battery charger was plugged in and the light on the charger turned to red and the battery charged again. Seems like too easy of a fix but it worked for my kids scooter.

Tip

Charging your power chair or scooter the correct way can make them last

Whenever you need to charge your power chair or scooter get into the habit of charging overnight. The battery level indicator lights will tell you if your chair or scooter needs charging. Whenever the lights are down into the yellow and especially if they are in the red. If you have the off-board charger, plug the charger into the charger port in the front of your joystick and then plug the charger into the wall socket or turn the on/off switch on and let it charge overnight. When you get up in the morning the charger should have a red light(power) and a green light illuminated (indicating fully charged) Always turn the charger off or unplug it from the wall socket before you unplug it from the chair or scooter. Never have the power on to the charger when you plug or unplug it from your chair or scooter. Whenever you get new batteries always give your batteries a full charge before use and then if you use the chair daily charge it every night. If you do not use your chair or scooter daily charge it at least once a week. Never leave the charger plugged in and on for more than 24 hours. Your batteries should last you 3-4 years if you charge them correctly.

No charge indication on throttle and motor doesn't work - New charged batteries.

Make certain the Batteries are IDENTICAL to the original. Any change of the Voltage, Current, or Amps will damage the motor or starter. Check all connections to see if they are properly set and Plus is to Plus and Minus to Minus. Check the Ground wires. Make certain all wires are insulated well, no cuts, peeling, cracks, or holes. Technically speaking, if you do not have test equipment like a VOM (Meter) you cannot check continuity (for shorts) and leaks.

make sure battery cables are secure at battery terminals and clean.how old are the batteries. If the batteries run down fast they are no good.a good way to test them is put scooter against some thing solid and go forward. If the battery indicator drops to o the batteries are no good.It takes about 10 hours to charge the batteries

soo Have the provider install new batteries. No telling how long the "new" batteries sat on a shelf and in the showroom without being charged. The batteries are warrantied and should be replaced. 18 volts is not enough voltage to run this scooter. You have 2 batteries that should each read a max voltage of 13.5 volts each or 26 to 27 volts when fully charged and measured in series. 2 batteries that are 50% charged will read 24 volts. Your batteries are almost dead by this measuring method. Charge them up or replace them and your scooter should run. Hope this helps.

Scooter won't run

Hi, Well it sounds like you have a wire not connected or the Twist throttle part is bad. The best thing is to use Volt meter on each battery and make sure they are at 13 volts of more. If they are 11-12 volts the batteries are no good. When you turn the switch on does it make a Click sound? Take off your battery access panel it is where you put your feet. Your batteries have a red and black wire with a wiring harness attached to them. This is where you want to make sure they are plugged in. If they are Plugged in Your Scooter has to Have a Blown Fuse. Check these out and get back to me with what you find. Batteries last 1 year if you take good care of them.

Schwinn S180 won't charge

NashvilleDan, this scooter has 2 12v 10 amp batteries in series, you should read over 24 volts at the charging hub if the batteries are good. I would think that if the scooter sat for over a year you have bad batteries, They can be purchased at battery plus.
