Unfortunately, there would be no public download for this, because of the product key. The only way to get this key is to buy Windows XP. If you have another computer with Windows XP, see if you can call the company that made the computer and may either send you one free or for around $15. (depending on your reason for needing it)

buy an external hard drive and just back up all your information to that or burn your information to a CD. You will want to download a program called Belarc Advisor and run it then print out the information it gives you so you have all the product key codes. Then go ahead with the reload once you feel you have copied all your information to another source.

You need to install the network driver.
Go to the ASUS WEB site to download the network driver for your computer. Download the Windows XP make sure it is for your model computer.

It should, but there are other opions. Ever hear of ubunto? Its a free os you can download for free, Or go on Ebay and buy a disk of the os you are currently using. Should save a lot of money.

If you buy new then you don't need to install Windows XP
If you buy used then you need to reinstall all drivers

Boot into safe mode then you install all drivers

even if u dont get just go to realtek site and from there you can download the driver.
or atlast go in google search and just search for the driver by completely mentioning the model name,brand name or if ur computer is assembled the type the name of your motherboard.

You should be getting in touch with Acer support for this. I can tell you that many people are removing Vista and installing XP on to their computers because of the problems that they are having with Vista.

To properly install XP, you will have to buy a lagitimate copy so that you can register it.

If you really want to put back Vista, you should have the activation codes with your original installation software that came with the computer. If this does not work you will have to call Acer support. There may be some issues that are not generic. Acer like many of the brand names may have specific requirements.

Dear Sir, Have Dell laptop Inspiron 1525 with Vista loaded....but I need Win XP-2 OS on it...CD of which I have but don't have the laptop drivers compatible with XP. Can you pls guide me how & where to find these drivers....Dell does'nt have those drivers anymore (outdated) Pls...
