Leak from Novatronic W310

After 5 years of trouble free service my Miele Novatronic W310 has developed a leak. The water is grey with evidence of detergent so I am presuming it is discharge water. The drum filter is clear and there is no evidence of leakage from either the door or the discharge pipework.
The unit was recently in transport due to a house move and I am not sure that the transport rods were fitted correctly.
Any ideas?

Bit the bullet and stripped out the covers from the unit so as to observe where the leak was coming from. Ran m/c on a basic quick wash (be careful, exposed live electrical terminals!!!) and noticed that water came from the detergent drawer for a second or two.
Stripped out detergent drawer housing and found that the large discharge pipe underneath was very blocked with black/white residue. Presume that this had been dislodged from the walls of the pipework during the house move.Removed residue and reassembled unit & ran, OK.
Saved myself £100 call out. Give Miele their due though, the documentation suggests that if you habitually wash at a low temperature, which we do, you should occasionally run a 95degree wash. My wife was very surprised when I asked her if she did this.

I have a 2013 keystone cougar 327res and the belly pan is full of water...where should i look for my leak?

This is not just for your camper, but general troubleshooting.
Drain the water from the belly pan. Hook up water supply to shore water source. With water source turned on, allow some time, 1-4 hours, and check if water has returned to belly pan. If water is present then the problem is with the fresh water system. If no water, either it is a small/slow leak or the problem is not with the fresh water system. Next test the grey water tank by pouring some red food color into the shower or sink drain. Flush it into tank with water. Again, wait for some time, maybe over night, and then check for red water in the belly pan. It may take longer for the leak to appear as the grey water tank does not have pressure. If no water, check the black water tank with green food coloring and same technique. If there is colored water, red or green, in the belly pan, then the leak is with associated with the grey or black water tanks. If no water is present after these tests, then the leak may be very small and it may take days or weeks to have water re-appear. In any event, clear water is fresh water system, red water is grey water system, and green water is black water system. With any of them, checking the tanks themselves and all pipes and connectors to/from should find the leak source. The last possibility is that water is entering the belly pan from a roof or vent leak. Check to see if water returns to belly pan after a good rain. If so, the water may be clear or slightly dirty. If it is a roof leak, I have found the best repair is to use Peel and Seal roll roofing It is light weight laminated aluminum and self sticking. Cutting and applying narrow strips 4-6" wide, will seal any caulked area. It costs $95 (3' x 33') at Lowes. A 30" motor home can be completely covered with three (3) rolls, in half a day. I have re-topped 5 motor homes (one 7 years ago) and no more leaks on any of them. The product was developed to seal the roofing joints of mobile homes. Topping should last 15+ years.

Miele 4070 watersystem fault but the catch tray has no water so it's not overflowing. What might this be?

it is leaking internally. When the drip tray is full, it tells you to empty the drip tray. when the machine has a problem and develops a leak, it locks up and displays watersystem fault. contact miele at 800 843 7231 and they can put you in contact with a service center in your area.

My 1994 Lincoln Town Car keeps loosing freon but I can't find a leak anywhere

A good way is to have the system charged with freon and A/C dye which will glow a bright green/yellow at the source of the leak.
If no leak evidence under hood after this check then the A/C evaporator coil under the dash is the likely source of leak.
Sometimes the schrader valves (ports where the system is charged) can develop a leak. You could put a few drops of water in the valve and see if any bubbles appear.

Miele Novatronic W360

there is still water in the waterproof tray at the bottom of the machine and the float switch has activated. pull the machine out (if pipes allow) and tip the machine backwards to drain the water from the tray.
