The clicking sound is the high voltage power supply trying to
ignite the gas in the lamp. The lamp is not firing and coming on.
Check the bulb/ lamp life. Possible the lamp has exceeded its
useful life and may need to be replaced.

    khanhlehuu, I'm curious if this worked for you...we're having the exact same problem, but our current bulb only has 65 hours on it.

Hc1500 projector will not turn on

Sounds like the lamp. The only way to really check it is to either put a new bulb in or put the old bulb in a different projector. Neither of which probably help you at this point. But, it does sound like the lamp is blown.

Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.
For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.
Here are the error codes, and the corresponding problem:
12 = No error detected, check power supply.
32 = Lamp Cover is open.
33 = Air filter cover is open.
34 = Lamp abnormality
36 = Light Engine (DMD or Lamp Fan stopped)
37 = Exhaust or Lamp Ballast Fan stopped
38 = Lamp Temperature High
39 = DMD Temperature High
41 = Short is detected
44 = DVI cable between FMT and Engine disconnected

Dear Sir, I have a NEC LT 260 K Lcd projector. The lamp of the lcd was busted.I replaced it with a new lamp. After replacing the lamp the lamp is not lighting when projector is put ON, I think the...

the clicking sound hopefully is the high voltage trying to start the lamp, but for some reason there may be a connection problem between the lamp and the projector power supply.
take the lamp out.

look at the lamp and check that the 2 connecting plugs are ok.
then look inside the projector at the power sockets that connect to the lamp (when it's installed).
check that the pins are not damaged or pushed down too far to prevent the lamp plugs making a proper connection with the power sockets in the unit.

Replaced bulb yesterday worked fine. Today light will not turn on. projector turns on both lights green for 10 seconds, then power goes red and status blinks green for about 5 seconds, then status light...

green green is power on, normal
then it tries to light the lamp, but it can't so the protection circuit comes activated.
you get red and green blinking

Then it goes to standby, red and off.

so something has happened to the lamp, or lamp ballast power supply.
Take the lamp out and check if all is OK with the 2 terminals in the connector, and the leads to the lamp are intact.

Failing that, I would suspect the ballast lamp power unit

WD-62525, continous amber lamp light. No picture. Lamp is good.

Hello:

Make sure u replace the lamp cover as the safety switch need to be closed to make the set work. If new lamp did not repair your problem , then it may well be the Ballast Board, Sometimes call the Lamp Driver.

No projection

This sounds like the lamp has not fired. Try a new lamp. If that fails to resolve hte problem, the ballast is the next assembly to be replaced.
