Wont load paper into A4

I tried to print a document on this printer, as I did a beeping noise went off and the error light came on. The screen now says Load Paper in to A4. The problem is there is already paper in the A4 drawer, I added a little bit more hoping it would solve the problem but it hasn't and I also have turned the printer off and then back on again to reset the jobs but still nothing.

Ok the problem is in printer driver settings. You need to open printer driver properties, and set paper size to A4, default sett. is LTR.

Hope that helped

Xerox 7760 Wrong paper size error when trying to print to A4

First your computer selects the printer to output to, so make sure your default printer is selected.
Next, within your printer you may have selected a different page size for output as a default.
The printer it self should allow you to load and auto detect paper size. If this feature is not enabled see if it is a choice.
Also whatever you are trying to print check page setup in the program you are using make sure to ensure they match.

We have a Canon Image Class MF3240 Copier/Fax/printer/scanner. We are receiving error A4-load proper paper. We are loading with 8 1/2 by 11 paper. What is this error telling me?

The problem is on the computer, not on the printer.

"A4" is a paper size, just like "Letter" and "Legal".

You probably have your software application, such as Excel, Word, etc., set to paper size = A4.

Do this in your program on the computer:
[File]
[Page Setup]
[Size] "8 1/2 x 11"

... and print your document again.

WHAT DOES LOAD CASSETTE PAPER CODE A4 ERROR ON A CANON MF3240 . WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? THANK YOU

I talked to tech support at Canon, and he explained that the document I was trying to print was originally scanned with an A4 paper size, and my printed is set to Letter paper size, thus producing the error code. A simple solution is to "uncheck" the box that says "choose paper source by PDF page size". It worked!!

I have an error msg saying load plain letter SSF 024-969

I guess that you normally use A4 paper. If this is the case you are most likely printing from a document that was created using the Letter paper size (typically a Word Doc of PDF file created in the USA). The solution is to reformat the document that you are trying to print, to A4. You may change the formatting of the document when doing this and page numbers may be incorrect when compared to the index and contents pages.

I have an HP 4V laserjet printer. It was printing fine until today. Both trays are full but it wont print. Form feed light is on, LC load letter message is flashing.

This is looking for Letter Sized Paper and presumably nit A$ that you normally use. This is usually caused by printing US documents and not resetting the paper size in the application before printing as the paper size will be embedded in the document in its original format.

Simply select the whole document and then reset the paper size to A4. You may need to check the document for lost images and tables but generally the text should be OK. Also the index and table of contents will also be affected as you will presumably have more A4 pages in the reformatted document that in the original.

Load A4

A4 is for european size, if you are printing on a letter size this is a mismatched.
you need to change your files printer properties to A4 or letter size, or change your printer paper size.
better yet cancel this document and send it again , this time by checking the printer properties was set to your desired paper size

MX2700N printer keeps giving A4 paper error.

Go to system setting, under printer setting there's a menu to forced output print or A4/Letter changing, if you can not find it try the key operator program/ admin mode ( default password for admin is admin )

CANON MF4140 'LOAD CORRECT PAPER CASSETTE : LTR'

I had same thing happen after a fresh Windows install. It was hard to figure out since it had been working fine until then, but luckily it is simple to fix. Open the Start Menu > Settings > Printers and Faxes folder. Then right-click on the Canon MF4100 Series printer and choose Printing Preferences. In there, change the Paper Size to Letter (instead of A4). You may also have to do this in the Print setup for whatever program you're using to print.
