Please do the following to fix the problem:
1. Power cut: First, unplug the washing machine and wait a few minutes.
Then plug it back in and try starting the app again.
2. Resetting the washing machine: If turning off the power alone does not solve the problem, you may need to reset the machine.
To do this, press and hold the Quick Start button for 5 seconds to reset.
Then try starting the program again.
3. Checking the water level: Make sure that the water level in the washing machine is correct and that the water supply line is connected correctly.
If the water level is low, it may cause "Err 105" error.
It is most likely due to the door latching switch. That is a high point of failure and wear. If you post the model number I can look for parts for you.
Hi, I managed to do it with an IQ300 WM12N218FR :
-> turn off
-> switch to first program (coton)
-> wait five seconds
-> press AND MAINTAIN start button
-> switch to second program
-> release start button
-> then the display show 0 to 4 (0 means no sound, 4 high volume). you can change the value each time you press the start button
-> turn off after the desired value.
goto service mode by pressing additional function key and 2,8 keys at a time and press again additional function key then touch - COPPER / FUNCTION / CLEAR / ERR / OK ! / DC-CON / OK ! . then switch off the power button and start again i think your problem is clear....
You can try clearing the code and then running the machine. Try colding down the pause and clear button simultaneously for three second s and the faul should clear Or try turning the knob around 9 times to clear the fault.
Fault is 1E- this indicates a water inlet error.
To access test mode: press and hold Normal+Eco, and press Power. Release buttons. Then press Start(display n:01).Press Start again (display shows water level frequency-not important). Press Start again-(display n:03-motor will be running). Press Start again (display n:04-drain pump will run). Press Start again (display n:05-inlet valve will come on and machine should fill with water). You have now tested major components are working-if you keep pressing start you will scroll thru and test other functions, like heater, dispensor etc, but not needed for your fault.
If Machine didn't fill with water in test mode, you probably have a faulty inlet valve (test resistence should be approx 3.7-4 k ohm).
If inlet valve has tested OK ie machine filled with water in test mode then:
Disconnect from power.
Remove side panels (need to remove top, and bottom front panel to then be able to remove sides)
- Check no water in base of machine-water in base will indicate machine has leaked and activated the safety device which shuts off inlet valve.
- If OK, you probably have a faulty flow meter(measures water intake). Located left hand side of machine, large plastic compartment, which has a sensor at the bottom with 3 wires (red,white,black) that go up to control board. Replace entire flow meter assy-relatively inexpensive part.
- If you still have problem, then control board is faulty, but in my experience it is much more likely to be flow meter
ERR=An error has been detected PAU=Cycle has been intrupted 58=High current on motor phase
To clear latest stored error code: • Turn the Program Knob to the start position, Spin Only. • Press Start/Pause to start the cycle and save it. • Press Cancel to stop the cycle and turn off the LEDs. • Press Cancel again to turn on the LEDs. • Within 5 seconds, press and hold the Option and Start/Pause buttons until LEDs start sequentially chasing, then release buttons. • Turn the program knob clockwise 7 clicks from the Start Position. The control will signal the last error code. • Press and hold the Options and Start/Pause buttons for 3 seconds. The code will be cleared. • Exit Diagnostic Mode to return the washer to normal operation. a) Unplug the power cord, wait 5-8 seconds, then reconnect the power cord OR b) Turn the program knob clockwise 2 or 3 clicks after the Start Position. Press Options and Start/Pause buttons together for a few seconds until wash cycle LEDs appear.
Click on your model number (below FIXYA) on this website, & search. You will get a shortlist; click on your model, below the page u will get Manual/Guides. Click on the blue, you have your manual on line. And dont forget to rate me on this great site.
Telescope, Im assuming your model starts with 417.44092, Kenmore made by Frigidaire. You have the best model with the digital display. Try unplugging the machine for 5 minutes to see if you can reset the board. If that doesn't work put it into a test mode by doing the following: Turn the dial to drain spin, press cancel to turn off the led's. Within 5 seconds press and hold the options and pause/cancel together for 5 seconds. All the led's should light. Now by turning the dial 1 click at a time clockwise you are going to test the following. 1rst click- hot water solenoid 2. bleach solenoid 3. Bleach and wash water solenoid 4. door lock solenoid activates 5. door lock solenoid de-activates. 6. the washer will fill and tumbe. 7. washer will fill and spin 8. drain pump and door lock will activate and washer will go in high spin. 9 clicks from the start, the last error code will be displayed. To clear the error, press and hold the options and cancel buttons for 3 seconds. To exit the test, just unplug the washer for 5 seconds. Sometimes these electronic boards just get a glitch and have to be reset. Make sure that the dispensor door is shut all the way. Try these things first...Catriver..post back.
