I brought mine to a local jeweler. Very inexpensive and no worries about breaking the watch or losing a piece. He only charged me for the battery. A few bucks and well worth it. I need a new band for mine now. Called Seiko in NJ. The style is no longer made and they want me to mail it in to the discontinued parts dept to see what they may have to fit. I'm nervous about sending it but don't see another option. I Love this watch and the soft comfortable band

All functions on my seiko work fine it just will not start.
mcdevito75 here, Your watch should start by pressing the MODE button maybe once or twice or by pulling out the stem as if to set the time and pushing it back in.

mcdevito75 here, The beeping must be a signal that the battery is weak, have the battery changed. Look for a small watch repair shop in your area for the battery change.
