My propane gas weber silver grill does not heat above 200 degrees. I noticed that the regulator has a hole on the side. Gas is coming out of that hole therby not feeding the tubes in the grill 100 percent of the gas. Is my regulator shot or is ther something I can do to fix this problem?

Heat not work

First, check your engine coolant(antifreeze). If you are out there will be none circulating through your heater core.

Second, when you attempt to turn it on is there any air being blown into the cab of the vehicle? If not check the fuses for the blower motor. If these are functioning properly next check the electrical connection to the blower motor itself. If these are fine and properly attached check to see (using a voltmeter) if there is power at these connections. If not you may have an electrical issue, if so you may need a new blower motor.

If air of any temperature is blowing into the cab when you switch it on then you need to look to your heating/cooling system. While driving is your temperature gauge reading that your vehicle reaches and maintains normal operating temperature? You may have a block or leak within your system, maybe even the heater core itself. You may also wish to take a look at your thermostat. If this is not functioning properly it may also impede your vehicle's ability to operate properly.

My electric dryer was working fine...I disconnected it and moved it to my new location and had to use a different electric wire and now it works, but with no heat...

You may have connected the power cord wrong. Since you had to use a different cord, you may want to verify if you have it connected correctly. The following link explains how to properly wire an appliance cord to an electric dryer:

If you verify the power cord is connected correctly, and are still experiencing heat related problems, please post back with your MODEL NUMBER so I can determine how your dryer is configured. I hope this helps you.

Everything seems fine but will not heat up I checked continuity, on every thing and it seems fine and I did the more less more less and all codes came up fine took the heating element out and it seems fine...

First things first...Are you sure that you have 220 volts to the dryer? Just because the motor runs doesn't neccesarily mean you have the proper voltage. Also check the connections where the cord comes in to see if they are tight and intact.

Mod# A-SMH18SA SER# 2791206189 Heat controller mini-split. Cust says lights flashing on board- he resets it, yet it resumes to just flashing at the board. Nothing runs. Long drive out there- any ideas. Was...

First of all, Heat Controller does not mount any schematics on their systems panels at all and supply no information for the service tech to code the light on the outdoor board. This is unbelievable.
Anyway- I found that the electrician had re-arranged breakers in the panel supplying the building and had connected the outdoor heat pump to 120v instead of 240v. He had interpenetrated the connection at the unit that has marked 2(N) as being a neutral connection. I explained that on 120v systems, that is neutral, but on a 240v system, it's L2. The outdoor board was flashing 5 times after the power was turned on for 3 minutes. Voltage at "S" was 38.4v, with this condition and the indoor units lights (all) were flashing every second and beeping as well.
It's running fine now that we are connected to the proper voltage.

Popping plate not heating up

Remember the strirring rod connects to the motor, but the heating element connects via the two prongs in the rear, so the motor can run without the heating element turned on (turn on the base without the plate on...the motor runs fine). Try reattaching the needs a good connection to the connectors in the back. It should heat up pretty quickly. Also, if you put the heating pad in the dishwasher, make sure it is dry and that the contacts aren't tarnished.

I'm certain over time the contacts will get loose and the popper will stop working, but our is going fine after a year.

Also, be careful not to drop the base...lots of cheap, hard plastic that will break and rattle around.
