No power I cannot get my MP3 player to power up. When I plug it into the CPU, there is not screen display, and the radio has stopped playing. All I have is a blank screen. Help. P.S. Is there a number to Sansa? I can't find the manual, either

Sandisk 240m mp3 not playing

the radio and mp3 uses one audio amplifier, check if you have loaded your music with mp3 songs, if not load with mp3 songs. if songs used to play and just stopped playing, then follow these steps,

i does your display show song playing, if it does then your set is fault, and if it doent and display unsuppoted, load with mp3 songs.

ii if it was playing and just stopped, than take it to a tech, who can open it and check the change-over switch, or selector of that set.

iii the problem is to very big.

Wondering how long it takes to charge the Sansa Clip MP3?

I have had the same problem. It seems the radio never turns off and keeps drawing power. Solution: before charging, go to a song, start it playing, then pause it, then turn off the sanza clip. Plug it in and it should charge up fine.

Blank screen

This has happened to my radio several times after I've dropped it. This is how I fixed the problem:

1) Take the radio out of the cradle and let it play until the battery runs low and
the radio can no longer play.

2) Put the radio back into the cradle, plug in the power cord. When it comes on
the screen should no longer be blank.

MyMusix PD-6110 MP3 Player wont play any songs

Unfortunately, your files must have gotten corrupt. This issue is most prevalent if you disconnect the mp3 before it has completed the transfer of songs.

To fix it, format the mp3 by plugging it into the USB port, right clicking the drive that is displayed and choosing "Format". This will remove all songs from the mp3 player. Afterward, you can re-add any songs that were lost. But make sure when disconnecting, you see no loading animation on the screen. Then right click the "Remove Hardware" icon on the bottom right of you screen, choose "Stop". Check again for a loading animation on the screen (if there is one, wait until it stops), and you can remove the mp3 from your USB port.

Sansa e140 just need some help with menus

When you power on your MP3 player it will go to the FM radio. 1. Press menu.
2. Go down once and you'll be on "Mode". Press the right button to access the mode menu.
3. You either press the enter button after accessing the menu or go down to select Playback mode (I forget which one it is).

Good Luck!

Shorted

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard

Computer does not show MP3 player as connected and how to stop a song playing

If you installed the firmware update, you might have forgotten to change the device to MSC mode.. try going to settings>USB mode>MSC This should probably work.. to stop a song while its playing, click the |<< button while you have the screen with the current song. (you can pause a song on this same screen with the >|| button) If you have gone back to any of the menu screens, wait for a couple seconds and the player will automatically go back tot he song display screen so you can stop the song.
