I am using SONY DSC T 300 digital camera. I am able to take photo from camera. But Once I have connected my camera in to my laptop am not able to see the folder & picture through my laptop.

The camera is not connecting to the laptop as there are some errors. If there is any drivers installed please remove them and then reinstall the drivers from Sony support.
Then connect the camera as it will be detected and installed as a new hardware.
the folders will now open for view.

How do i transfer photos from my samsung L100 camera on my laptop???

If you have a USB cable, connect to your camera and then connect it to the computer's USB port. the computer should see the camera as a storage device. You can then open the folders on the camera and copy the photos to a folder in your computer.
Some cameras need a program installed on the computer so you can download the photos.
The other way of downloading photos - remove the memory card from the camera and plug it into an USB memory card reader and then connect this to the USB port on the computer. The computer will see this as an external storage device, then open the folders on the memory card and copy the photos to a folder in the computer.

SONY VAIO VGN-CR520D MY PROBLEM IS WITH MY WEB CAM, NO WORK WITH WIN7

Hi carlosoaj,

You need to re-install the Camera Driver after the installation of the Windows 7 Operating System in the computer. As the Windows Vista Drivers are compatible with Windows 7 Operating System, you can try installing those Driver.

Please download the Camera Driver here

Please download the file to a folder in the Computer. Then, please open the folder where the files is downloaded and double click on it to begin the installation. Please follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation process. After installation, restart the Computer for the settings to take the effect.

After that, install the Windows 7 Camera Applications in the Computer. You can download the Windows 7 Camera Applications from the below link.

WebCam Companion Software

Magic-i Visual Effects Software

Please download and install the Software in the computer. Make sure that you restart the Computer after each installation for the settings to take the effect. Then, please click "Start", "All Programs" and click the "WebCam Companion" to open the Camera Application and use the Camera.

Hope this helps...

Have finepix 5200. New Dell Home Premium WIN 7. Installed software, updated drivers. Cannot import photos, either thru USB port or card reader.Worked fine on old computer (XP). Use Kasperski AV 2010.

Not sure with WIN7 but, when connected and camera on, can you go to My computer and see the camera or an extra drive ?

If so click on and try and open the drive, if you're still cooking on gas try copy/past to a folder on you pc.

Error message when I try to download photos to my laptop

Did you install the drivers from the CD which came with your camera???. The drivers must be installed, before you can connect your camera to your laptop. If not follow these steps in sequence

1- Use the CD to install the drivers. If you do not have the CD, please go to fuji web site and download it. Here is the link

http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital/download/01/index.html

2- After installing the drivers, connect your camera to your laptop, turn it on and follow the screen to install the drivers.

3- After it is finished (ready) , click on start, then computer. If the drivers was installed correctely, you would see an icon with all or part of fuji Finepix s9000. Double click on that icon.

4- You would see one or more folders, which contain all of the pictures and/or videos stored in your camera.

Now you could download, copy, delete etc all of your stored pictures.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!

Cannot download photos from Olympus FE-280

Connect Olympus camera to laptop with USB cable provided, turn the camera on and open "Computer" in Window explorer or Computer. You should see the new removable disk, click on it and you will probably see one subdirectory and one sub-sub drectory, something like 100OLYMP, open it up and you should see jpg files in your camera. The light will blink for some time and then stop. You should then be able to select the files and transfer them to your folder on the hard drive.

When you first turn on the camera you could check to see in Device Manager, under Portable Devices, if your camera is recognized and whether everything is OK with your driver.

If you have a card reader you can also try to read the card from the laptop.

Hope it works!

Installation

Hi, If you are running WIndows 98 you will need the driver downloaded and installed. Here is the link: http://www.vivitar.com/support.asp?model_id=16&modelname=ViviCam3815 Otherwise, you just need to plug camera into the laptop with the USB cable, turn it on, and the laptop should detect it. Folllow the instructions below: 1. Connect one end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer. 2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the USB connector on the camera. 3. Turn the camera on. Your computers operating system will recognize the camera. 4. From the Windows desktop double click on ?My Computer? 5. Look for a new ?removable disk? icon. This ?removable disk? is actually the memory (or memory card) in your camera. Typically, the camera will be assigned drive letter ?e? or higher. 6. Double click on the removable disk and locate the DCIM folder. 7. Double click on the DCIM folder to open it to find more folders such as ?100CAMEA? 8. Your recorded images and video clips will be inside these folders 9. Copy & Paste or Drag-N-Drop image and video files to a folder on your computer When the camera is turned on and connected to your computer, it is considered to be a disk drive, just like a floppy disk or CD. You can download (transfer) images by copying them from the ?removable disk? (?untitled? disk on a Macintosh) to your computer hard driver as described in the prior section. Tip of the Day: Delete the images from the memory card using the menu system in the camera. Don't delete them using your computer. Hope this helps. Let me know if it works. NewMediaMan
