Color regristration I don't know if I have the right term, I am a printer, and when colors don't line up right we say it is out of register. My TV's color doesn't line up. It's a little off.

The rings on the neck of the picture tube may have moved. this is a convergence problem and you need either a color bar generator or a very stable text screen to adjust the rings. by rotating them back and forth you will see the color outlines move. try to line all of them up until they are all on the text or image.
