Hi, in my bosch axxis wta i took out heating element, I noticed that when unit is on 2 out 4 coils get red and they go out when the cylinder changes rotation ( about every minute changes its rotation) then there is no heat at all for another minute when cylinder changes rotation again and 2 coils get red again...can u please tell me if this is normal?
I bought this unit used and may be I don't know how to turn the seting on right...? thx
Zuraxus what you are seeing is normal for a time. Here is how this dryer works. With a wet towel in the dryer, the first 5 minutes is testing to see if the load is wet. If so then between 5 & 10 minutes the dryer will turn on the 800 watt heater section (only in clockwise rotation). If still wet enough from 10 minutes to 15 minutes it will turn on the 1900 watt heater (heating only in clockwise). If still wet enough 15 to dry will turn on the full 2700 watts in clockwise and 800 watts in counter clock wise. That is how the cycle works. However it is hard to tell with the rear cover removed as the blower pushes the air thru the heater. Careful that by running with the back panel off you don't trip the high temp manual reset protector. So yes this sounds normal. What is the issue that is causing you to think the dryer isn't working proper?
Hello Zuraxus, on the time dry cycle only the 800watt section of the heater is in operation. The auto dry cycle is the one I described above. Only the auto dry uses the full heater if there is enough moisture in the clothes. So try the extra dry cottons to see if this drys better. Also wash the lint filter to see if it will help.

thx. for your respond...
even if I set the dryer up for 30-40 min. drying cycle, when I open the unit after, cloths are still semi-wet and only a little warmth emits from the dryers cylinder, what I.m thinking, the unit never turns on full power of 2700 watts. the cloths are only slightly warm...
Hello,
On my Bosch Axxis WTA 3510 Electric Dryer, I have no heat at all, it will only air dry the clothe...any ideas?
Thanks,
Peter
