My nokia 5130 phone is not showing modem in pc suite when connected by usb? plz help.....!!!!!!!

If you have an N-series nokia phone, you would need a different PC suite. Check on the Nokia website for the software for ur phone. Its a free download

Nokia pc suite Version 7.1.18.0 is the updated version u can connect easily but use a compatible usb chord for ur mobile...

download Nokia 5130 cable driver,install it.install PC suite. and connect to internet.

I myself own this awesome music phone.

Find the answers below:

1) As it shows less internal memory, it seems that you have transfered some data like mp3, video clips through bluetooth to this phone and it was saved in the recieved folder which autmatically saves in phone memory. Try saving the data to memory card and you will get the phone memory free.

2) Check the above reason for this same issue.

3) You need to select proper connectivity mode under settings of this phone. Go to settings and then open connectivity folder. Here select the connection mode.

Make sure to install the latest PC suite software on the computer. This can be downloaded from the NOKIA website.

did u install the nokia pc suite in ur laptop. if not, then u have to install the pc suite or atleast usb driver for it. then it will recognize that.
Moreover, when u connect the phone to the pc, does it show the three or twol condition on ur phone like mass storage or modem...
if yes then select modem or similar option and then try again..

6070 support ca-42, so what exactly u mean, it doesnt recognise your phone (restart phone once and plug it back to pc), or it doesnt detect modem (you need to manually add nokia 6020 cable modem, there are no 6070 modem drivers for ca-42) ??
