I have two norton accounts. Each account was protecting a laptop(s). Several weeks ago two laptops were stolen. I've just replaced them and want to transfer my unused Norton protection to them. The new laptops have Norton 2010 trial versions which are working now but I don't want to buy it when I still have time left on the existing accounts. How to I transfer to the new laptops?

Check with your carrier... I hv MetroPCS & they include Lookout Labs Protection & also insurance for lost or damaged phone. Only $6/month. If yr phone is lost or stolen you go to the app (my Lookout) & you can do all sorts of things from licking your phone to closing all devices you've had your accounts open on. Then you can block access from where you are so no one can use your accounts but you.
There are other option like delete all data from the stolwn device, or make it scream loudly so you can find it if you've just mislaid it... like between couch cushions, etc... Good luck!

You cannot delete an account on facebook without logging inside the account. The most you can do is create a new account and report abuse on your earlier account stating the reason as stolen account. Publish it in the news feed so that others should also know that this account is stolen and should stop communicating with that account.

The easiest way to transfer your Norton License from your old computer to new is by registering for a Norton account at https://www.mynortonaccount.com. This will let you re-activate your Norton on the new laptop, plus allow you to download latest updated version of your current Norton software. Create an account at that website, register your Product Key, then proceed installing Norton on your new laptop. Let me know if i can be of further assistance.

Did you have a older version of Norton on your system before.
I have problems installing new version of Norton after not fully uninstalling the older version. Symantec has a removal tool for free to download. I would run this tool before trying again to install the new version. But that's just me. You do what you want.
