Chinese writing The screen writing has suddenly turned chinese for no reason, and the ink tanks will not recognise.

Always difficult to find your way through a menu when the language is symbols so nothing is remotely recognisable. Other than finding a Chinese speaker the only way maybe to just play with the menu until it comes up with the language menu as these will be written in their native way (Svensk, Dansk, Italiano, English etc.) Maybe you can google for a translation of what LANGUAGE looks like in Chinese.

Short of getting someone who reads and speaks that language it is the only simple way I know to approach this odd issue.

You are in service mode, hit the number 5 and start key to go to F5, then start again, scroll to language at pick english. To exit service mode touch function and clear at the same time. This is the only way to exit service mode

actually u need ROM with chinese support kindly go to www.samsung.com and find the update software link for ur phone F480 and pls update ur ROM and see for chinese support in the avaible roms

create new message > message > "options" icon (bottomest left) > writing Language > (choose your language). mine has english, malay, indonesian, thai, korean & simple/trad chinese. (Sorry, no japanese. maybe northeast asian market has.)
you can then set input preference, either under "options" icon > input method, or click on the top right rectangular box in the texting screen itself.

Just ask here, they are specialized in finding english manuals for chinese import items. They helped me a lot with my SciPhone mobile.
