1.Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue.
2.Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1.
3.On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device
4.Select HBM-730 once a connection is detected.
5.The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm the connection has been made.
6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".

Tips:
1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset.
2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On".
3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".

please give good rating if the solution works.

How to make auto answer incoming phone (hand free) with LG HBM 570 bluetooth headset in case driving car

Hi, LG HBM 730 Bluetooth Headset Wireless Headset does have the ability to auto answer a call. But it does that automatically (does not need settings for it).

Also you can set auto answer from your cell phone.I don't know the model of the cell phone you are using at the moment. So you will need to use the manual of the cell phone to know how to auto answer calls.

When you set the cellphones auto answer, then it will auto answer on your LG HBM 730 Bluetooth Headset Wireless Headset..

Have a nice day

Discover mode?

Start with the headset turned off. Then, press and hold the MFB for some 10 seconds, until the indicator LED is steady lit. It should be in pairing mode. Now, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a while, the HBM-730 will appear on the screen. Select it and command it to proceed. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros).
Hope it works for you.
Cheers! Carlos

Pairing 730 and lg vx 860

To put the LG HBM-730 into pairing mode you must press the MFB for 5-10 seconds from power off. Pairing mode is denoted by the LED glowing solid red. LG has chosen to stick with the default pairing code of '0000'. Using Bluetooth specification 1.2, as is the custom, the HBM-730 supports both headset and handsfree profiles.
I found this on the internet and hope it works for you

What type of phone do you have ? I have a blackberry pearl and there is an application on it for setting up Bluetooth. On it is a Search function. My old phone had a search function as well under something related to BlueTooth. So you may want to start there.
