G841 miele dishwasher flashing start and end lights

In my case it was a blocked impeller, which had not been cleaned for 10 years we have had the dishwasher. To get to the impeller, remove the (usually silver) mesh as you do when you clean the filter. There is a plastic pipe, hump arrangement held in place by a wire clamp. Flip clamp off - toward the filter side (use screwdriver if fingers not enough). Pull out plastic pipe. underneath is the impeller and you can see if there is gunk there. If so, remove using fingers, screwdriver, anything that will get it out. Spin impeller to make sure all gunk is out, also to see if it is able to spin freely. You can also clean the pipe, black rubber stopper and steel ball inside th epipe. Just make sure you have a good look how it is asssembled. replace all parts to the way it was. Run a cycle and see if lights still flash. If so, problem is elsewhere, but at least you know that this is not the problem. calling out a Miele technicin to clean your impeller would be rather uneconomic.

Miele Dishwasher G841 - Water not draining after wash cycle

If you suspect the dish washer, try discharging the drain in a bucket. After the drain cycle check the wash tub. If water is still left, you have to clean the drain filter attached to the bottom. Refer user guide.

The final drain end of the dish washer where you discharge, the fixing junction has to be cleaned, incase it is clogged.

The door on my miele G481 built in dishwasher won't stay open it's really annoying that it keeps popping up when I'm trying to load.

hi,

what you need to do is slack off the spring tension on the door hinges. each side of the unit at the base on the plinth there is a screw with a spring symbol next to it. turn this anti clockwise to reduce the spring tension.

Hope this helps

The breaker keeps shutting off when I run my dishwasher. Service already changed the intake hose. Is it the motor?

rarely. next time this happens. immediatly go to the breaker box, and feel for heat on the breaker that is blown. if it is warm, your miele is okay, call an electrician.

Miele G841 Built in. Intake/Drain light on/flashing and the dishwasher just shuts down.

I had a similar problem with a different Miele. I found that under the door, there is a removable trim panel (may not be one on yours). Under the trim panel was an acoustically sealed metal plate held by a couple of screws. i switched off and disconnected the electrity, then removed the plate. The bottom tray was filled with a big puddle. I cleaned that up and put the machine back together and it ran fine. Accordingly, I'm getting some replacement shaft seals for the thing as it looks like its worth fixing. Good luck with yours. rupertvdP
