I have a bunch of lines running up and down my screen, mostly on the left side and I have no idea what the problem is. The lines move when I push the menu button from all across the screen to just a section on the left side. And the picture looks fine behind the lines. It almost looks like a barcode on the screen.Its a Sony KF-50WE610 TV made in 2003. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

This is a common Mainboard failure problem on Projectors.
The unfortunate thing is that this can only be solved by having the part repaired or replaced.

I have the same problem, it is not always an issue and comes and goes.
if this is a common issue, what is the cost to get this fixed? parts and/or parts and labor.
can this be done on your own or should this be a service call.
just wondering since TV's have come way down in cost, and may be cheaper to replace.
