If your daughter ordered restore disks for you and you want to check the status of the order, there are a few ways you can do that:

Check the order confirmation email: If your daughter received an order confirmation email after placing the order, it should contain information about the estimated delivery date and tracking information, if available.

Contact the seller: If your daughter ordered the restore disks from a specific seller or website, you could contact the seller's customer service department to inquire about the status of the order. They may be able to provide you with a tracking number or estimated delivery date.

Check the shipping carrier's website: If you have a tracking number for the package, you can check the shipping carrier's website (such as USPS, FedEx, or UPS) to track the delivery status.

If you are still unable to locate the restored disks or obtain information about the order status, you may need to contact the seller or the shipping carrier directly for further assistance.

Please check to the store where she ordered and get the delivery receipt number because that will be your reference. If they use a courier ask them what courier and when they deliver. After knowing the courier call the courier if they receive such information about the delivery.

My AZUS Model X54C suddenly lost about 36% of its memory. A couple of weeks ago it had still 48% on Disk C. It has now 12%. Never happened before. I could only restore it to today's date.

If the earliest restore date you have is today, you cannot restore to an earlier date. If you do not have an original disc, you are out of luck unless: your hard drive may have a recovery partition built into it. Just so you know, the recovery partition (if you have one) will restore your computer to what it was like when it was brand new. This means no files, no pictures, no videos, no other programs like Office or anything, just like it was when brand new. Here is a link that describes how a recovery partition works, and how to get to it.

Im getting a message on my computer saying that my disk needs to be checked for consistency but i didnt install or update anything or touch it. it just came out of the blue. help?

Go to Start , then Programs, Accessories, System Tools and System Restore. Go to an older restore point maybe from like a week ago , the computer will automatically shut down and restart with an older restore point, let it do its magic, its like going back in time to a good day. It should resolve your problem if not then let me know. Good luck.

When my daughter plays just dance the wii just freezes how can we solve this

Check the disk to make sure there are no scratches in it. If there are bring it to your local game store and have them run it through thier disk restorer. Usually costs about a buck.

I have a compaq home computer. A couple of weeks ago, it quit working. I can't get it to where I can log on or anything. I've been told I need a boot up disc. Where can I get one?

If you cannot find the disks that came with the machine if any, then you will have to call HP/Compaq tech support. I had to do the same thing for an IBM machine today. You will adk for a set of restore or recovery disks. Remember that running restore will format the drive and you will loose data. It will restore the machine to the original condition as it was when new. If you need to get data off and can boot it up with a disk then you can transfer the data off the hard drive before restoring it. Sorry.

Need systems restore disk for Gateway

Hi,

I'm not sure if you hope to rescue your files and documents but a system restore disk won't do this, it will wipe you hard disk and return it to factory default. therefore you could just start again with any copy of windows XP. You'll need driver disks but you can download them from the gateway website. you can get an XP disk cheaply on ebay.

IPod Problems - Connecting to Windows / Songs Cutting Short

Sounds like Vista has some setting causing it to want to check all USB devices. Maybe a virus scan or something?

Yes restoring an ipod resets it back to all factory defaults, which is to sync automatically. So whenever you restore you will need to recheck that box.
