Brookstone wireless headphones have static along w/ tv sound

Sound is clear intermittently as I move around, but not consistent. Have moved sensor away from other tv wires which helped but did not eliminate the static. HAS to be close to TV to plug in!

Well I just plugged into the cable box and that worked. On my old tv as well as my newer one the only audio out was an optical I had bought an optical splitter (one input for my sound bar and the other one to the optical to Rca) and an optical to rca for the headphones. This allowed me to use the headphones on all things going through the tv. For some strange reason it no longer works that way (just got my new tv this week). I bought all pieces on Amazon for a nominal cost. I'm going to doublecheck all connections again tomorrow.

SOURCE: just bought the brookstone wireless tv headphones.

I had the same problem with Brookstone wireless headset the only solution I found was plug in the red and white connectors to your cable box it works perfectly that way. Just make sure the red cable connector from the transmitter is connected to right red input connector on the box. I have a Comcast cable box. Now I need a solution for them on my PS3?

Try cooking the tcon board in the oven...there are some postings on youtube that tell how to do it, if that doesn't help replace the board...Good luck!!

yap! for CRT TVs with ring of colors, do the following to solve the problem; find a normal magnet from a retired speaker , just switch on the TV and while the TV is On, hold the magnet about 15CM from the screen while moving it arround the whole screen area. when it starts to degause/to be clear just move the magnet around the screen while moving further away from the TV screen let say 20CM, 25CM , 35 cm etc.

Microphone makes a static sound when it gets moved. The static comes through the speakers when the microphone is held in different positions. Could it be the cord or the connection to the mic?

Make sure your connections are clean and tight. There may also be an intermittant or broken wire in the cord. See if you can narrow the problem down by holding some parts of the wire stationary and moving other areas. gently shake the mike with the set off and listen closely for loose parts making noise. (The idea is to eliminate the areas that are good and what's left is broken.) Hope this helps

Hi, my lg scarlett has started to loose audio volume intermittently and for long periods. my knowledge is limited to jiggling the leads at the back!

Hi there, i have similar roiblem and i think it has something ot do with the clear voice options on the sound options. I think there is an isue with the sensor on the TV. When you get close to the TV the sounds cuts and you can get it to come back on if you move the screen - is this similar to your issue?

Brio remote control express doesn't move anymore

I wish I could help - I have exactly the same problem! Train opened Christmas Day, worked ok. Batteries seemed to gradually die 2-3 days later. Replaced all 3 sets of batteries twice, but nothing. Initially I got sounds, but nothing now.

My 1998 catera runs fine and all the sudden just wont start, jump it and its just fine again for awhile. have replaced the battery and alternator and my connections are tighy. What gives?

Since you just replaced the battery and alternator, I would take the car to a parts store and have them check the alternator output. See if there is any fluctuation in the output. I had a short once in one of the wires in the plug that was causing an intermittent charging problem. I found it by moving the wires around while checking the alternator output. I re-soldered the wire into the plug and eliminated the problem. Hope this helped and best wishes.

My 7319 makes a brief intermittent click-hum every minute or so, that sounds like a phone line is being opened up (without hearing a dial tone). I have tried unsuccessfully to make the sound go away....

Lol, it's not the sound we're trying to muffle, as stated I knew the solution might sound dumb but we're not trying to muffle the sound. One of two things is likely happening.

1. There's a light source causing the calibration sensor to think something is moving in front of it and messing with it's normal function causing the head to move back and forth to recalibrate every minute or so.

2. Mechanical failure of one of the motors or caridge sensors is causing it not to know where the head is positioned and it is constantly trying to get back to it's "parked" position but never getting the signal from the sensor saying it is there.

With this in mind, throw a dark coloured blanket over it and see if the noise stops, if it does you either need to close the blinds, move the affending lamp or reposition the printer so the light isn't hitting it at the front where the little blue light blink occasionally.

If this doesn't work, it's likely a sensor failure and you may be able to determine which one by opening your printer toolbox and checking the various diagnostic routines.

Hope this makes things a little more clear,

Chris

Either someone got too close to it with a magnet or you have an output problem.
