Water on floor

The hose that goes into the drip pan to defrost the refer is plugged with stuff.
take the back off and see the hose connection.A coat hanger works well.Usually a 1/4" hose.
Also see where the bottom of the freezer drains into the drip pan. That may be plugged, also.
The temp may be set too low and the condenser is frozen up,leaking water into the floor.Just ice stuck to the condenser.
Possible that the condenser FAN stopped turning. That will ice up and melt at random:
see/hear that the fan is working.
If stuff gets into the fan,it will ice up,melt and make a mess on the floor.

New fridge freezer isgetting very hot on both

This heat is normal. The refrigerator you have in your kitchen will have the condenser coils which get very hot on the bottom or back of the frig. A deep freeze has the condenser coils inside the walls of the freezer. Hot temps are normal when it is running.

Try to leave an inch or so of space around it for air flow and that will help.

Condensation forming on the bottom of freezer

Referred back to the manual and installation requires 3" of space on sides and back. Moved the freezer to comply with that requirement and problem seems to be resolved.

General electric 5.0 chest freezer has water coming all over the floor.

The reason this happens is because the defrost timer is not turning back on when it needs to, causing the freezer to thou out and overfill the drip tray sitting on top of the compressor. A new defrost timer should be available from the local refrigeration wholesalers in your area.

Can I Mount Casters with Screws into Bottom of Chest Freezer?

youyr best bet would be to build a frame that the casters are welded to and there are no holes in the outer shell of the freezer. some L shaped angle would work nicely for this application and then there would be plenty of support for when the freezer is loaded up with product. Be sure that teo of the casters are lockable and two in the swivel freely.
