I have a question about recharging a SanDish Sansa clip MP3 player. We use the supplied USB cable attached to our PC to recharge the unit while at home. We also just got a car (12 Volt input) cell phone charger that has an adapter that will fit the Sansa clip USB input. What we are asking is if it is OK to use the cell phone charger to recharge the Sansa clip batteries while traveling in the car? The cell phone charger is a model SKU 03045 made by Just Wireless. It states 12 V input with no output listed. Thanks for any help with this question. If you need to contact me use [email protected]

If the USB end of the Sansa cable connects to the charger, then there's no problem.

Can I recharge the battery of my Sandisk Sansa Clip MP3 player without using my computer?

Yes. AC to USB adapters are available anywhere cell phone chargers are sold. One end plugs into a wall outlet and you can plug the USB cord from your Sansa into the other end. I use such a device every night to charge my Sansa.

Rechargeing a sansa mp3 player

Sansa MP3 players recharge via the slot on the bottom. Use the supplied cable, plug one end into the player and the other into a USB slot on your computer. Make sure the player is unlocked before connecting.

Cables to conect to computer

This recharges when connected to the USB port of your PC. SanDisk does sell a wall charger separately, visit a store with your player to locate one. If you are missing your USB cable you will need to order a replacement for both charging and transferring music anyways.

My sansa fuze wont charge

Some USB ports cannot supply enough power to charge the Fuze. I had the same problem. I worked around it by getting a wall charger from RadioShack.

Battery
The Sansa
®
Clip player comes with an internal rechargeable battery. To use the player for
the very first time, remember to fully charge the battery. You can charge your Sansa
®
player through the USB port of your computer, a car adapter (not included) USB port, or AC
adapter (not included) USB port.
Charging
To charge the battery, please follow these steps:
1. Connect the larger end of the USB cable into an available USB port on the
computer.
2. Connect the smaller end of the USB cable into the Sansa
®
Clip player.
3. The computer must be on for most USB ports to charge your battery. Your
Sansa
®
will show connected and the yellow charging indicator will appear.
The battery level indicator will blink while charging. You will not be able to
play while connected to the computer USB.
4. To stop recharging, simply disconnect the cable.
The battery can also be charged using an AC adapter (not included) or a car adapter
(not included) and you will be able to play your device while charging with one of the
adapters.
NOTE: Some low-power USB ports may not be able to provide enough charge
power. Also note that the rechargeable batteries are not replaceable.

Charging the battery on a sansa mp3 player

recharge it by plugging it in to the USB port. your sansa should have come with a USB cable and the ports are pretty easy to find.
almost all types of earbuds or earphones are compatible with the sansa system, so if you just go out and buy some you should be fine.
