Insert XP Cd in disk drive. Reboot your PC. F2 or Del key to enter BIOS upon setup. Change first boot device to CD\DVD - F10 to save. The PC will now boot from the CD and you can partition/ allocate and setup a new installation from here by following the on-screen instructions. This is somewhat complicated and not for newbies - you will loose all your data during this process - so if you are not sure what to do rather ask or take it to a pro or your vendor.

Please insert the Windows disk and restart to boot to the CD.

Installing operating system

You are getting this error because you have formatted the harddrive and now your computer cannot find your old copy of Windows.
To install the new copy you have to put the Windows disk in the CD or DVD drawer and restart the computer, when the compter starts (before the no operating system window) you should have options to Enter SetUp. You need to press the appropriate "F" key to enter set up or boot order and tell the machine to boot from the CD.
As it is now your machine is trying to start from the harddrive and its not finding anything, you need it to start from the cd drive so that it can install windows.

Facing windows XP problem

Try running Windows in safe mode by turning the computer and holding down on the F8 button while the computer is booting.

Instead of the Windows XP screen you will get a menu displayed. Select the safe mode option and press enter.

If Windows doesn't complete startup in safe mode, you will have to reinstall Windows.
