Can you please detail your situation a little more? What inverter do you use? Can you give me a model number? And also what are you plugging it into? And from what I gather, your appliance is flashing red not the inverter? What is the applicance Model number?

It would depend on what type of AC product you'r trying t operate. While your load maybe only 1,000 watts, the starting inrush current may be too much for your inverter. Try turning inverter on, and see if it powers up. Try pluggin in something very small. Another possibility is the 12V circuit you're plugging the unit into isn't large enough to carry the current, and the incoming voltage is dropping too low for the unit to operate. A 1000 watt inverter is too large to plug into your cigeratte lighter unless you're only operating a very small load. Usually they are connected right to the battery. If you do this be sure to fuse it there , and run large enough wire to the inverter. You should probably have about a #4-#6 copper wire for such a large inverter.

Works good when rv plugged in to AC LP or AC but even if runnin in LP and I remove the power cord shuts down and red x is on , wont try to start up.

If it's a refrigerator problem, I would look towards the rear circuit board first. It sounds to me like you probably have an issue with your inverter. The refrigerator operates on 12V DC, not AC. So when you unplug it, it should stay on and simply start working on the LP side of things. Try hooking the refrigerator up to an independent 12V battery. It should work perfectly fine when you unplug the unit from AC at that point. You most likely have something called AC ripple caused from a bad inverter. What is the cause of the red fault light coming on whenever I turn on my Powertech Inverter mi-5112. I have no power from the unit when the DC source is 2 x 105 A/Hr batteries, showing 13.3 volts.

Remove any load that you might have on the inverter. Turn the inverter on and if this still happens, then the inverter needs repair/replacement. Also watch the battery voltage. If it drops more than 0.2 volts, then the batteries are likely discharged or defective.

ERROR E03 WHATS IS MEAN ON MY CONVERTER 600 WATTS ELIMINATOR

Hi, here is the error codes that I could find for you, it seems you are overloading the inverter. That means you cannot connect a kettle or other heavy load to the output. See all error codes below, hoep this helps.

Problem: The AC load will not operate, error code shows on digital
display and alarm is sounding.
Error Possible Cause Solution
E01 Low voltage shutdown because battery is discharged.
Recharge battery. Shorten cables or use heavier cables.
E02 Over-voltage shutdown because of high input voltage.
Verify the charging system is properly regulated and the battery
is 12 V nominal.
E03 The AC product(s) connected are rated at more than the
inverter's continuous power rating; overload shutdown has
occurred. Use a product with a power rating within the inverter's continuous power rating (see Table 3).
E04 The inverter has overheated due to poor ventilation.
Overheating shutdown has occurred.Turn inverter off and allow to cool for 15 minutes. Clear blocked fan or remove objects covering unit. Move the inverter to a cooler place. Reduce load if continuous
operation is required.
E05 The AC products connected have a surge power that exceeds
the Digital Inverter's surge capability or the AC products connected are short-circuited and shutdown has occurred. The products exceed the inverter's surge capability. Use a product with a starting surge power within the Digital Inverter's capability.

Red fault lite on and no power to ac and alarm continuouse why

The inverter may be in low voltage shutdown. If battery is marginal, wires small, or load significant, this all has effect on the voltage the inverter is seeing.

I have no instalation instructions for my 2500 rppipower inverter

You should use 2 red and 2 black cables, Install the inverter as close to the batteries as possible and use minimum #4ga cables #2 are better. Keep the cables as short as possible. You will need also connectors, like the ones on the truck's battery cables, attach these to both ends of each cable and crimp VERY well, connect all 4 cables to the inverter first, then the red cables at the positive battery terminals (if 4 batteries use one on each end) then the black cables to the negative posts the same way.

The 14 AWG Positive wire should be connected to one side of a 30 A relay (typical fog lamp relay available at most automotive stores). The relay's other 30 A contact should be connected to the battery positive post via a 10 AWG (up to 6 ft/2 m)
