There's a white line on the left side of the screen. It doesn't show up on the pictures on the computer but it stays on the screen.

Yes, LCD Screens when damaged will do this. If it doesn't show up in the pictures, then your CCD in the camera is fine.

Keep using it as it is as changing the screen can be more expensive than the camera's current value.

Or, if it is in warranty replace or repair it at your option.

Good luck to you on this.

My monitor screen is black and the yellow standby light is blinking. I can not get the light to stop blinking or get the monitor to show anything, but a black screen. What can I do to coerrect the problem?

mcdevito75 here, Press the SHIFT key, a screen should come up telling you too click on your user name, left lower side of screen. If this doesn"t work, press the yellow blinking light on the monitor see if picture comes back, then follow the directions. If this doesn"t work, shut computer down with switch on the computer itself. Hope this helps.

How to fix horisontal lines on display ( see the picture)? They stronger when system is restarted and then fading but never disappearing. They always stay the same.

horizontal lines can be caused by either a faulty grapchics card or a faulty monitor. try adjusting the screen refresh rate. if you are using a windows xp system goto

start>control panel>display>settings>advanced>monitor

then adjust the screen refresh rate and see if the horizontal lines disappear. if not, then you probably have a faulty graphics card or monitor.
