Picasa Photo In error I have transferred photos into the clips file from which one makes a collage. How do I transfer them back to the Picasa library?

Picasa no longer exists. Its been replaced by Google Photos. You likely need to download the images and re-upload them.

Problems with the Java Uploader try the Picasa Uploader on Facebook

Some might think that Google is trying to shoehorn its way into your Beloved Facebook however with the problems with the default Java Uploader this is another great way to upload your photos. It has been designed for IE8 however I will work with Firefox with IE Tab XPI.

first install the latest version of Picasa 3 to your PC then goto the application link on Facebook

http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=2483740875

When it detects that Picasa is loaded it will allow you to import the Facebook Button to Picasa if you are using Firefox you will also have to choose the Picasa link

b896e9b.jpg

When you have done this when you goto the application page in facebook you will be able to install the facebook button to Picasa click on install now

fe91ce3.jpg

You will then see this window asking if you want to install the facebook button to Picasa interface

followed by

When all is finished you will be able to use the button to upload you photos to facebook

e9612c8.jpg

A bit longwinded but you only have to do it once then all you have to do is select the photos you want to upload and press the facebook button at the bottom

Picasa is also a great way to manage all you photos and jpegs on your PC and also to use the Picasa Web Albums photo sharing feature and as a bonus it will also allow you to upload to your www.blogger.com account all you have to do is specify which one of your blogs you want to upload to.

And of Course your Google Earth Account using Geo-Tag you will have to install the latest version and place it on the cross hairs

Free software download

You don't need any special software.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ). Picasa can also do a more than tolerable job of editing and enhancing your photos.

Crop a photo

Your best bet is to download the photograph and crop it in Microsoft paint (or any other editor) then re-upload to Facebook.
Unless you wish to use the picture as your profile picture, in which case just click "use as profile picture" and crop.

Dear Sir, I would like to transfer facebook album pics to a new album of another facebook account. Kindly give the details for transfer procedure. Thanks!

Hello virgo2010,
Unfortunately the only way to do this is to download the images in your album to your computer and then re-upload them to your other Facebook account.
This is partly Facebooks fault since they don't offer the users to move or transfer photos.
I realize that this is can be a bit time consuming, especially if you have a lot of photos, so I would suggest you grab a download manager such as DownLoadThemAll (If you use Firefox) or Free Download Manager, and use the download managers to automatically download all photos from your album.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Don't forget to vote up if this helped!
Sincerely, Bjarki Jonasson

How to upload photos to FB from Picasa program

Every photo that comes off my digital camera I import into Picasa before I do anything else with it, even if it's merely destined to end up on Facebook where I can share it with friends. Picasa Uploader utilizes the new APIs to connect Picasa directly to your Facebook account. To get started, take care of the following first:
  1. Get a Facebook account and make sure you can log in.
  2. Install the latest version of Picasa on your computer.
Now go to the Picasa Uploader page on Facebook and follow the instructions. You'll click on the Install Plugin button, which will launch Picasa with the Configure Buttons dialog open.
facebook_add_button_425x287.png Here you'll want to select the Facebook button on the left and then click the Add >> button in the center to add it to Picasa's button bar. You can then use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to change its position and finally click OK to save your changes. You may have to restart Picasa before you proceed. Once the button is installed, it's easy to use. To send photos from Picasa to Facebook, just select the photos you want and then click on the new Facebook button on the button bar in the lower right. A window will appear where you'll need to log into Facebook in order to give Picasa permission to upload photos to your account.
Now Picasa will prompt you to choose a Facebook album to put the photos in, or create a new one, and then it will upload the photos to Facebook along with any captions you've given them. Once it's finished, there's one more step: A browser window will be launched and you'll be taken to Facebook, where you'll have to "approve" the photos that have been uploaded. This is to prevent malicious applications from uploading photos without your permission. It's as easy as clicking on Select All and Approve.
Once your photos are uploaded, they live on Facebook just like photos you uploaded directly through Facebook's web interface, and you can go through and edit them, tag the people in them, and so on.

How do you upload pictures to facebook from picasa

hi friend,
I use Picasa desktop tool to keep my photos organized and upload them to Picasa Web albums, however I use Face book too pretty often and was looking for a tool to upload photos from Picasa directly to Facebook.
There are a few different ways to upload photos to Facebook one is a Facebook-from-your-desktop.html" target=_blank>Facebook photo Uploader and another is a plug in to Facebook-using-windows-live-gallery.html" target=_blank>upload images to Facebook from Windows Live Gallery, however if you are a Picasa user there is another tool called Picasa Uploader which will allow you to upload images from Picasa directly to Facebook.
To upload images from Picasa to Facebook, follow the steps given below.
Step 1: Download the Picasa Uploader application, you will be prompted to launch the Picasa application when you click on the download link.
Step 2: Add the Facebook Button to Picasa by clicking on the Add button.
Step 3: Follow the steps to authorize the application to access Facebook.
Step 4: Select the photos you want to upload to Facebook, and click on the Facebook button from the bottom of the screen.
Step 5: A new window will open up, if you have already authorized access to Facebook, you will see a screen where you can add information about the album.
When the albums are uploaded you will have to personally login to Facebook and approve the uploaded photos, if you do not want to that everytime, just click on the enabling extended access, clicking on this link will show you a screen to authorize the application to upload photos.
If you do not authorize the application to upload photos you will have to login to Facebook and go to your photos and then approve the images.

On the other hand if you allowed the application to upload photos to Facebook, it will show up in your albums.
Pretty easy right, this is definitely a great tool for Picasa users who also use Facebook and will definitely save them a lot of time.

hope this helps u
