Broken wire on Black & Decker BDL400S laser level

Re: Black & Decker BDL400S Bullseye Crosshair 90 Degree Auto Leveling Interior Line Laser

There is a micro-fine, almost invisible, wire that attaches to case mounted terminals on either side of the swinging laser assembly and, apparently, somewhere on the swinging laser assembly: I need to know where. I have asked Black & Decker for a schematic but to no avail. Can anyone help?

Black and decker crosshair laser level

The really fine wire is soldered from the RED terminal on left to the RED terminal on the top left (underneath the board). See below in the images.

I have a Black & Decker auto leveling Laser level. I dropped the head on some carpet and it was on at the time but now it won't light. I am in Calgary, Alberta. Where can I get it fixed?

The laser light on my black & decker bdl500 stopped working

I had the same problem with mine. I took it apart and inspected it. Mine was a loose connection and after some fiddling with the wires the laser came back on. Put it back together and haven't had a problem with it since. Hope it helps.
