Lenovo 3000 C100 certain keys stopped working

Hi there, I have a Lenovo 3000 C100. I switched on the laptop yesterday to find that the 'num lock' had come on of its own accord. I switched that off and realised that my left hand tab, caps lock, shift and control keys are not working, along with the T and y and backspace keys.....I have run every scan I can think off and i have checked that no sticky or hot keys have been enabled by mistake. I have also taken off all the kes and given it a thorough clean. Any clues as to what could be causing this?

Some of the keys on the keyboard when pressed display the wrong letter/number/character. i have changed the keyboard but its still a problem.

First thing I would check would be the "NUM LOCK" key. It may be activated via the function (FN) key on the lower left of the keyboard. In other words, hold down the FN key and hit (NMLK) which should be somewhere along the top edge on the right side.

Black water flow mark on monitor screen of the Lenovo Laptop 3000 C100 series

You would have to disassemble the screen in order to clean it. There are layers in the front of the screen, what you see is where the liquid got in between the layers. Screens can be taken apart, but it's not recommended.
