You can buy electric units and a set of hands from your local electronics dealer, although it might take some fitting, as they are clamped on to clock face through the hole that the present hands shaft rotates.

If the face is attached to the existing mechanism, then it will have to be removed and a method found for mounting the face into the case.

You will need to know someone who can convert it for you.

Good luck!

Mcdevito75 here, If the old clock works are Quartz, you may not be able to get a new Quartz movement as it may not be made anymore, BEST BET, look for a small watch repair shop in your area, I'm sure they can do something.

I have a very old rotary watch with the numbers engraved on the back 096017 and 182394

Based on your description, it sounds like you might have a vintage Rotary watch. If you are able to provide the specific model number of the watch, you can use the Rotary watch database to look up the production year and other details about the watch. Additionally, if you would like to learn more about vintage watch care and maintenance, there are plenty of resources online about how to best care for your vintage watch.

Have old Seth Thomas Metronome ,only key turn about 1/4 turn.Is that normal for vintage one.

It is not normal. Metronome should wind almost the same as a clock. The cause for this 1/4 turn of a winder is that the driving spring do not unwind completely. That means there are mechanical or oiling issues. Show your metronome to any clock repairer (not the watch repairer) and he/she should be able to fix that.

I have a Westclox battery operated wall clock with chicken on face. The battery is new. The second hand tries to move but just "clicks" How can I fix this?

Sounds like it is just worn out.
Sometimes you can replace the generic clock works in these type of clocks. Go online and do a search for battery powered clock works, and see if you can match yours. They are removed quite easily after popping off the clock hands, and removing a nut under the hands that holds the clock works in the chicken.
Here's a link to a site that sells the clock movements... http://www.clockworks.com/

I had the same problem; I inherited a clock by that description with my office. I'm not sure if it would help you, but I was able to at least figure out the mechanics of the clock from this site: http://www.clockworks.com/cintro1.html

They claim that you can order the spring there.
