I have a Panasonic Lumix G1. I'm finding the camera is not rgistering the bright colours such as the sunset or flowers? Is this a setting problem or a problem with the camera? Marilyn

Can't get the moon in focus.

Full moon is very bright, so you are probably seriously over-exposing your image......not enough contrast in there for the camera to focus on.

Under expose in small increments until the camera can latch onto to the image accuratley.

Lumix camera

i have a lumx tz1 and if you have the colour effect set to cool this will happen
on the lumix tz1 you set the dial to normal then scroll thru the menu till you find col.effect enter that and check that it is in the off mode .

Faulty focus

Have you tried changing the focusing mode to one of the other settings? I usually find central point setting best for zoom. Alternatively, you could try using Macro (the flower) setting - I leave mine on this all the time it's really the best general purpose mode.
