Question about JVC AV-32260 32" TV

JVC AV32260G COLOR TV

PLEASE HELP,
MY 32" JVC HAS BLACK PICTURE. WHEN TURN UNIT ON, GOT POWER LED ON, NO PICTURE, HAS SOUND. WHEN PRESS POWER OFF, CENTER PICTURE LITTLE SQUARE LIGHTS ON AND GOES OUT QUIKLY. CHECK POWER SUPPLY SEEMS TO BE OK, ALL DC LEVELS THERE. ANY HELP IS APPRICIATED.

1) test the power for audio for +24 Vdc
2) IF there are test the following a) color sync b) color osc c) color i-f d)color demo e) amp video color.

My 52 in jvc model lt-52x579 turns on but there is no picture or sound and about two seconds later the led light for the power starts to blink i tried to turn it off but it just keeps on trying to turn on...


Sound like the power supply board has gone out .Unplug the tv for 2 or 3 minutes and plug it in again and try to turn on. Some times they will come on .But It sounds like the PSB is going out .

If your set is led or lcd your Tcon board is getting to the end of its life, its the lowest cost board in a TV

Our 32'' JVC TV model # AV-32030 has an obscured picture.


With the remote go to the Closed Caption menu and make sure it is turned off.

No picture


try resoldering vertical output ic pins, no vertical deflection will shut off picture. may need ic replacing along with electrolytic cap.

Audio ok, but Video goes from color to black.


the tv turns on fine, but after 5 - 30 min or so, "sometimes MORE " the picture all of a sudden go's black. Sound is ok it is 100% loose contact problem. 1 please check for any connector or print for loose. 2 in signal processor ic there might be loose. remember there is no component failure.
