That can usually be repaired by installing the repair kit called the V26 Chassis DM / Power repair kit. The kit contains the parts and the CD with detailed instructions. Its at www.tvrepairworld.com under the Mitsubishi repair kits.

SOURCE: wont power up , green indactor light wont stop flashing

You have four capacitors bad on the "DM" module in the unit. I recommend you get a tech to do this repair. This is due to the complexity of accessing the DM module. A qualified tech can do this repair in under an hour. You can find a tech in your area by inputting your zip code on the home page of this website. Let me know if I can be of further assistance

SOURCE: "timer"flashing green light

should check then capastors on the dm board. they are on a board in a silver case on the left side of the set when looking from the rear. the capstors should have 16v @ 1000u wrote on the side of them and are about 1 inch tall size of a dime round. Dont do anything without unpluging the tv frist from power. Just to let you know I have posted this before. You can use 25v/1000u if you cant find the 16v/1000u. You can higher in voltage and be ok but donot go less than 16v rateing. this is what i would check out frist.

Remove the trim panels in front of the center console. Locate the engine computer attached to a floor-mounted bracket on the transmission tunnel between the console and the firewall.

  • Turn the diagnostic mode selector, located in a round opening on the side of the engine computer, until it stops. Observe the small red and green LED lights on the side of the computer next to the mode selector. They will flash to indicate the modes, with a pause between each mode. One quick flash is mode one, two quick flashes is mode two and so on. When the light flashes indicate mode three, quickly turn the mode selector counterclockwise until it stops. You have entered mode three diagnostics.

For example, if the red light flashes two times and the green light flashes seven times, this would indicate code 27.
