Please check to see it the battery on your adapter is worrking fine. Or else replace the battery . If mechanical type load up the tape before you load the cassette to the player. If this ejects again the adapter is not landing well into the mechansim. cleck within the tray for any foreign bits that is preventing the adapter from loading. Also if the end sensors are detecting , use a tape to cover the inner hole of the adapter. if the tape is tight in the adaptor- check for free state by turning with the finger.
If your regular tapes are playing well then you will get the fault without much of an issue but recheck on these tips. Helpful? good day

Have unit hooked up, but cannot get the vhs casset tape e to remain in player, keeps ejecting.

Typically a VHS tape has a button on the underside that unlocks when pressed inside the VHS player. The wheels unlock and move the tape in the VHS. If this doesn’t happen, the tape will eject.

Is there a VHS adapter to view tapes on TV?

The 8mm recording system is totally different to the VHS system and therefore cannot be played in a VHS player. No adaptor is available such as the VHS-C to VHS adaptor.
Sony did release a dedicated 8mm Player/Recorder many years ago although these tend to be difficult to find offered for sale. RHN

Try unplugging the player from electrical power for several minutes. Plug the player back in and try to eject the tape.

How do you use the Panasonic PV-P1 Vhs C Adaptor?

I do not know if this is the permanent solution, but I just rewound the tape to the beginning and ejected it. The cassette came right out of the PlayPak. I will let you know if this always works or not.

Vhs eject will not release tape.

I had a suggestion that did work. Reach into the VHS compartment with left hand and press down toward the back of the tape. With the right hand press the eject button a few times and the tape did come out. I would not buy a Samsung product again. No help from their 800 tech support. No more playing the VHS side of the player. Lynn

Why does the VCR ejects my tape?

The VHS PlayPak adaptor uses 1 AA battery. When you place your VHS-C tape into the adaptor and close the cover, you will hear the motor running and the red piece on the adapter will move inside. Check the placement of the battery and make sure the clear shrink-wrap has been removed from the battery.
