Hi, I have the similar s8000fd and I transfer pics from internal memory by taking out the sd card then connect to a spare usb socket on computer, then switch camera on. To transfer pics from internal memory to sd card - leave sd card in, switch on camera (playback mode), press menu, select copy, select 'internal memory to sd card', 'select frame' or 'all frames'. It should say 'copy ok?' Press OK.

SOURCE: Pictures on Internal Memory

Select Backup from the Setup menu to copy pictures from the internal memory to a memory card. This is a copy, not a move, leaving internal memory untouched. It also does not affect any favorites.

Took pictures with m dane-elec 8gb then it told e i need to format.will i lose all my pictures

Yes, formatting removes all the data. However, the photos might be on the camera's internal memory and not the SD card.

If possible, connect the camera to a computer and copy the photos onto the computer, then you can safely format the SD card.

If you cannot connect the camera to a computer, you will need to take out the SD, and verify that the pictures are still on the camera. If the photos are still on the camera, the photos are on the internal memory, in which case you can format the SD card as fat32 on your computer, and reinsert the card into the camera. If the photos are not on your camera after removing the SD card, then the pictures are on the SD card and you will need to have someone assist you further in extracting the photos.

How do I take the pictures out of the internal memory and put them on an SD card so I can take them OUT of the internal camera memory?

Use the "Copy" command in the Playback menu to copy the pictures from the internal memory to the card. Once the pictures have been safely transferred to your computer, format the internal memory to clear it.

Need help with moving pictures from internal Kodak Z740 to SD card

Hi.

You will need to use a computer, there is no option for direct transfer from internal memory to SD card.

Remove the SD card from inside the camera and connect the camera to the computer using an USB cable. With no SD card the computer will show the pictures stored in camera's internal memory. Copy the pictures in the internal memory in computer hard disk, then eventually move them onto the SD card.

Regards.

I need to get the pictures off my camera and onto my sd card.

I think you mean you want to transfer pictures from the camera's internal memory to the memory card.I don't know if there is a function to do this on your camera, but on the cameras I am familiar with, there is not.

However, if what you want to accomplish is to get your pictures from internal memory into your computer, there is a way. Simply remove the memory card from your camera before connecting the camera to your computer. The computer will then see the camera's internal memory instead of the card memory, and you can copy the pictures over.

If you have been accessing your pictures by removing the card from the camera and placing it in a card reader attached to your computer, then this won't work for pictures in the internal memory. You will need to use the other method, connecting the camera to the computer with the USB lead.

My camera says the pictures upload onto my computer but then nothing happens after that....the pictures dont upload what is the problem?

Internal Memory: 32MB
SD Card / SDHC Card (Up to 4GB support)

Possible that internal memory is empty and your are transfered zero file. Switch to external SD memory in your camera menu should take care of the problem. Get the SD card reader is your easiest option. just copy and paste the photos to my picture in your computer.

Kodak easyshare m360 says memory full after 3 photos i just bought the camera, what i shell do < shell i buy memory card or usb for it ?

You need to switch the camera over to saving pictures directly onto the SD card.
  • Menu
  • Cam settings
  • Chose AUTO or SD card option
  • Press OK to SD card
Note: If the SD card isn't in the camera or is unreadable the camera will automatically go back to saving you taken pictures on the internal memory.

If you experience problems:
The lever on your SD card might be turned the wrong way so the SD card is reading protective.
Please turn the lever and try again.

The SD card might not be supported by the model: Your camera Memory card support is SD/MMC up to 2 Gigabyte and SDHC up to 8 Gigabyte

The SD card might not be faulty, try another card, since the camera could give you a message like the one you're experiencing.
Try with a different SD card that is supported by the camera.

Once you have set the settings to save onto the SD card directly you might like to transferre your existing pictures from the internal memory onto the SD card:
