Hello,
Actually, it sounds to me like you have gradual lint build-up in your dryer and vent. Over time, the lint build up slowly causes the drying time to take longer because it is slowly getting blocked. Pull out your dryer, unplug it, and disconnect the vent from the back of the dryer. Take a flashlight and look inside the back of the dryer and clean out as needed. Then clean out the vent attached to the dryer and make sure the vent cap outside is not clogged or the vent flap is not stuck. If you have a expandable plastic or foil vent tube attached to your dryer, make sure it is not getting squished when you push the dryer back. I have to clean mine out every year because I have a long vent on my dryer. Hope this helps! Douglas
This is dued to lint build up in the dryers venting tubes. If you completely tear the vents off and clean them inside thoroughly it will run like ne again. It will be better to replace accordian stle tubes than to clean them if that is what you have on yours
A moister sensor detects the build up and keeps the heat in check
