Taking a picture, everything that is white is pink and dark pics

When we take a picture, everything that is white in the picture is pink. The camera is set on color mode. Black and white works fine. Also, sometimes it will take a picture that is dark. The flash does go off but the picture is still dark. We are not oo far away from the subject and it doesn't matter if it is in regular picture taking mode or night mode. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Oops, it looks like you have a couple of annoying problems with your Kodak camera.

Is your camera still in warranty by where you bought it (30 days) or the manufacturer (1 year)?

This FE-340 Olympus is a great camera. Lots of features and usually great results
  • Indoor pictures with flash set on auto WB (white balance) should not be a problem
  • Indoor pictures without flash requires setting the WB to match the light source in the room (incandescent, florescent etc) Outdoor pictures WB on auto generally not a problem

Pics turn white with lines when taken outside in day light

Check to see if your ISO is set to a high number like 800 or 1600. If so, set it lower or on auto ISO. Your white balance should probably be on auto white balance. Go into the setup menu and see if your camera has a setting for "reset". This could take your camera back to factory defaults.

Sony DSC W50 Camera - Trouble with Flash

Hi, I guess you are using the automatic mode ( not the "P" mode).
You should enable flash only when there is insuffient light. If you use flash in broad day light, your pic will be whited out. If you dont use flash in dark or low light, your pic will be dark or very dark.
So, when it comes of dark, try enabling the flash. If its still dark, increase the flash compensation (the eV value). If its still dark, increase the ISO number.
Hope these help.
cheers,

Pink Pictures

Send out for repair or replace camera if not under warranty.
Main Processing Unit has gone south. This happened to me twice in 16 months. First repair was within warranty. Out of warranty repair costs more than camera's purchase price

Pink tint when shhoting in bright sunlight

Sane problem with C713, the view screen is dark and gives focus warning, then the pics come out with a pink tint. I believe it is the sensor or shutter problem. Can't get any solutions either.
