Our Whirlpool refrigerator model ED5SHAXMB10 is keeping our freezer food cold, yet no cold air is being blown into the refrigerator. Refrigerator is getting very warm. What can be done to fix it?

The defrost is not taking place on time or the defrost ventilation door is stuck closed.Its controlled by motor,that motor is got faulty.

If freezer cooling but fridge not cooling,then its a defrost issue.First freezer cools,then cool air from freezer gets to fridge and fridge gets cool.But if freezer defrost cycle not taking place then its faulty defrost assembly parts.

Just bought a used westinghouse RJ275M fridge. It seems to work fine except for the noise - it has a low hum and rattling noise.

It can be compressor fan noise,may be motor getting overheated and causing noise.It has to be inspected.

Fan has failed on out side unit, It may also need new capacitors.

Its available at sears parts store.
The fan motor may be for $50 and capacitor for $10 to 15

Ice maker stopped working, plus fridge not cold, but freezer o.k.

I would check that fan motor in the freezer section is running. it distributes cold air from freezer into refrig section also if this motor is running the top portion of freezer will not get cold enough to allow ice production. the motor is easy to repl and is mod# specific you should be able to buy one online.
