I bought and installed an ASU9RLQ that had been

I bought and installed a Fujitsu ASU9RLQ mini-split that had been installed and used for approximately 6 months. It is at capacity on refrigerant and the electrical is installed correctly. However, I get no response when trying to activate the unit with the remote. I am beginning to suspect that the remote is the wrong one. It is an AR-JW5. Can you tell me if this is the correct remote for this unit or should the unit operate with it? Thank you.

Install new batteries, aim it at the unit and press the power button. You should hear a beep or see a green signal. If not, try to command the fan to come on.

My Fujitsu mini split indoor unit is flashing error code 97 (outdoor unit fan motor 1 error according to the installation manual error codes list). Is there a way to reset it?

I had ice buildup in the winter at bottom of fan housing. This kept the blade from turning. Hair dryer made the fix easy peasy.

What is the hourly labor rate 2 install this unit

Trades will be very reluctant to give you an hourly rate on split system install as this would deplete the profitability. It depends on the installation, a simple back to back install would take around 3 hours with electrical connection to switchboard. It also depends on brick or fibro walls. Most installations are around 500 Aus dollars total price with the longest time frame of around 4 hours

I am trying to replace the fan on a Fujitsu ASU9RLQ Mini-split (I have the replacement unit). I have the front cover over the Mini-split; how do I get access to the existing fan to replace it?

This is from Friedrich support and I believe yours is similar. The whole bottom of the unit should come down after you remove the outside shroud.

To take the blower motor out:The technician would do the following:1. disconnect the power2. remove all front cover3. disconnect all wires at the terminal block at the unit4. DISCONNECT ALL WIRES AT THE BOARD. take out the control board5. remove the drain hose at the back6. REMOVE 2 SCREWS ON THE LEFT SIDE OF UNIT7. REMOVE 1 SCREW ON THE RIGHT FRONT AT BOTTOM8. PULL DOWN FIRMLY down
BUT NOT TOO HARD. BE CAREFULL NOT TO DAMAGE THE STYROFORM AROUND. WORK IT SO THAT THE BLOWER AND FAN MOTOR COMES OUT TOGETHER. 9. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO DISCONNECT THE REFRIGERANT LINES
