Where can I find a USB cord for a GSA-E60N drive?

K3b under Linux will recognise and burn correctly. Make a bootable live usb-stick for Mandriva, Kubuntu or Fedora or.........many others.
Boot from usb and burn DVD,.
When finished you can close down, remove the usb-stick and be be back as you were.
Or if impressed with the experience install Linux as a dual or only boot.

Any burning application that I use with this drive does not work correctly (no DVD works after burning and each application will only show an interface to write CDs and not DVDs - another reason the DVD burning may not work). The drive worked ok in Ubuntu but not in XP.
I know what you mean. I have made a few DVD coasters with the built in burner. Fortunately, there are a lot of DVD burner programs out there. There is even a version of Nero for Linux if you are doing serious work and want to buy from a commercial company.
