Graphics drivers download

The graphic drivers downloades from the hp site did not work. I want help on how to download efficient drivers for my hp dx-7300

Generally, the manufacturer's website is the best place to download from.

Anyways, here are three links, depending on what graphics card you have..

ATI
Intel
NVidia

If you are not sure what card you have, go into device manager and check:
START > CONTROL PANEL (Choose classic View from left side) > SYSTEM > HARDWARE > DEVICE MANAGER

OR,

Right click the MY COMPUTER icon on desktop, choose PROPERTIES, ADVANCED tab, and DVICE MANAGER.

Is it DX 7300 Microtower PC or Slim Tower PC? Which OS? Is the graphics card onboard or external? If external, name of the graphics card please.

To install a graphics driver you need to download the driver from the graphics card manufacturer's WEB site.
I cannot give you the link to this WEB site because you did not provide the make and model of your graphics card.

I cant get windows 7 sound and graphics drivers for hp compaq dc5100 mt
the HP web page don't have the driver for windows 7
i found those 2 dirver after 5 hours
here are the graphic an audio drivers. Audio have a install program. But with
te video you haver to select update driver in the device manager and select the
directory with the drivers. good look

I can only get 480 x 640 resolution and 4 bit colors and all the graphics are fuzzy
It appears the graphics card driver has not been installed. Check the device Manager and if you get a yellow ? against the Display Adapter then you need to install the graphic driver.
If your computer is a Compaq or HP then you need to download the drivers from the Compaq/HP WEB support/download page. Make sure you select your model computer and the XP or Vista Windows version of the drivers you require and install them. Use this link to download the drivers :-

If your computer is not a Compaq or HP desktop computer and you know the make and model of the graphics card in your computer then go to the graphics manufacturer's WEB site to download the graphics driver.

I have a HP DV2000 notebook which offers only a limited number of video resolutions. I want to set it to 1024 x 640 pixels which is not listed. Any way to solve the problem?
This is the problem when ur graphics driver is not installed & configured properly..

U need to reinstall the driver...
Now go to the web site i give u, download the driver for ur graphics card

Now uninstall ur graphics driver from Add & remove Programs From Control Panel...

Now install this new driver u installed and then restart it..
After u restart ur system, it will automatically set ur resolution to 1024x786

I don,t have video controller (VGA) driver in my 1238 il compaq m
From your desktop click Start
Then click Run
from the run command line type in

dxdiag

click run this built in utility will tell you what is in your system. Under the display tab in the top left will be a box labeled device
in that is you Graphics Card search that plus the word Driver and Download Ie mine is;

Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller.

I would search

Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller Driver Download

if this doesnt work post your graphics card name and ill try and find the site that has the driver for you

WINDOWS 98 EXTEND MY WINDOWS DESKTOP
You need to download and install the necessary video drivers for your computer's graphics card chipset.

If your computer has a PCI or AGP graphics card, you can power off your computer and then unplug it, open the computer case, and then check the graphics card to see either its make and model or simply write down the info about its chipset. The main graphics chip on the card, for example, might say SIS 6326. You would then go to the SIS web site and download the Win98 drivers for this graphics chipset.

If the graphics is built into the motherboard, then you can look on the motherboard for the graphics chipset model, or consult the motherboard manual or search online to see what graphics chipset the motherboard uses. Video drivers for motherboard chipsets can be downloaded either from the motherboard manufacturer's web site or from the chipset manufacturer's web site.

Once you have installed the appropriate video chipset drivers, the installation utility should ask you to reboot the computer. After you have rebooted, right-click on the desktop and then go to the Advanced settings. You should now be able to increase the color depth and screen resolution.
