I'm trying to find a way to listen to voicemail greetings on our phone system without actually calling up each individual phone and waiting for it to go to voicemail. I'm dug through the voicemail and system admin programing lists and haven't been able to find a way. I can see the name, listen to the company directory name, and change the greetings, but I want to be able to listen to the greetings without changing them. The reason for this is a number of our phones have old or incorrect voicemail greetings on them (also the not in office voicemail on some too) and I'm trying to figure out which ones. Thanks.
If your talking about listening to the individual mailbox greetings without calling into the system then you could use feature 980 (leave message)
enter in the mailbox number you want to check and press ok.
Check your Voicemail
Just in case anyone still has difficulty in finding the instructions.....
Set Up your VoicemailBefore your phone can receive voicemail messages, you must set up a 4-10 digit passcode and record a personal voicemail greeting. When you have set up your voicemail, all unanswered calls to your phone are automatically transferred to voicemail, even if your phone is in use or turned off.1. Press and hold the 1 key.2. Follow the system prompts to create a password and record a greeting.
Best of luck!!
When you receive a voicemail message, a
notification with a voicemail message icon
appears at the top of your screen.
• At the voicemail notification, select Call to call
your voicemail number and follow the system
prompts to retrieve the message.
Select Ignore to clear the notification without
checking messages. The notification icon
remains on top of the screen until you listen to
the message
• When only the voicemail message icon
appears on top of the screen, select
Voicemailand follow the system prompts
to retrieve the message.

Thanks, thats pretty much what I was trying to do. On off chance do you know of a way to listen to the alternate greeting (like when out of the office) too? Its not as big of a deal and I can just change the phone to that long enough to listen to it but it would but nice if there was a faster way.
