Have you tried to install it yet? If not, go Start>printers and faxes>add a printer. When the wizard box opens up and gets to the point about your driver, tell it to search in this location and then specify the location where you put the downloaded driver at. When it finishes your printer should be installed. If this fixes your problem please rate as fixed. If it didn't, please don't rate yet. When one of us answers a question we try to provide a solution accoring to the info provided to us. So could you tell me please where you got the driver, and what happened when you tried my suggestion?

Solved! I now can scan wirelessly throughout my network. I downloaded the drivers for a friends newer HP all-in-one scanner and I can scan. Look for the driver for the 309a series of printers and install it. Complete the install and set up your existing printer. You can now scan, print, fax wirelessly. It includes updated HP apps for these functions that work with OS 10.5. I didn't upgrade to the HP 1.1 drivers through Apple. The file name is: PS_AIO_05_C309a_Net_Full_Mac_WW_102.dmg
