Your granddaughter has to remove your credit card from her paypal account.

To do that, ask her to log in to her account.

Click on the My Account tab.

Below the My Account tab, theres a link for Profile, hover your mouse over that link and click on Add/Edit Credit Card.

You should see your credit card listed there, just click on Remove.

You can now sign up for your own account using your credit card.

Which account do you mean? If you mean Yahoo! Mail account, then you might be on the wrong webpage or phishing page. If you can, please post back with the link of the page you were accessing when signing up your account. Let me check the url and the contents of the page. The correct Yahoo! While signing up for a free Yahoo! Mail account, you'll never be asked for Credit/Debit Card info. I am not very sure about what Child ID is.

Ok if you want to use a bank account for your personal paypal try to apply on this site they don't need a credit card. Do not attempt to display your credit card it might be the way to hacked your account. Please do not be easily persuaded. I have just finished applying for my personal paypal on this site www.paypal.com connected to fixya. They will deliver my card after 25 days because i am from Philippines. But before you can apply you have to answer 50 questions to the problems posted on the site. Why do'nt you join us to be an expert.

You can create a free Yahoo Mail account by going to http://mail.yahoo.com and Click on the "Sign Up for Yahoo" button on the page which opens. Enter the details on the next page to complete the registration.
