    I bought one of these printers that didnt come with the installation CD, thinking i could download it. The HP website says it doesnt do it for windows 1998, and thats all i have- an old computer. Does anyone have any ideas on being able to find how to install driver for my new printer? Thanks

Thanks for using FixYa. As per heading of the issue, the printer is HP PSC 1315 All-in-One Ink Jet Printer, then you can download and install the drivers from the HP link after choosing the OS you are using---

HP PSC 1410 All-In-One Ink Jet Printer cd installer
Go to www.hp.com/support, select your country, state, next page, select drivers and software and in the window just below it, type in hp psc 1410, it will give you choices, select your printer, run or save to a location on your hard drive. If you prefer to save, double click on it and it will create a directory on your hard drive. Open the directory and run the software. It might be adviceable to unplug your usb cable before running the software.
