Can i download the sound driver for e machine to a cd?

You may need to check the sound drivers installations.
Try playing a CD using Windows media player.This will report a sound error.
Download the drivers from your machine's support site.

Use a friend's computer to download the files from compaq website. Then copy them to a cd disc or better yet to a usb removable disc (thumb drive or flash drive). Then install to your laptop.

This means that the audio driver is not installed. If you have a cd look for your audio driver and install it on your machin. If you don't have a cd of installer try checking on the internet and download the audio driver for your machine.

after downloading completely, you just remove your old audio driver completely and restart your machine.

After that, install the new audio driver that you downloaded and than restart your machine.

Have you installed the sound drivers of your machine.If not then install then from the driver cd which you should have got with your machine.If you have already installed the drivers and you can play the videos but you cant listen any sound then there is problem is codec.for that download following player or codec pack.
