Mcdevito75 here, The stem should be 2 position, first pull the stem out to adjust the DAY ot Month, push the stem back in, now slip a fingernail just under the stem anf lift to the stems first position, this should allow you to change the DATE, adjust to 1 day before the DATE you need, now lift the stem to adjust the time, go thru the complete 24 hour cycle to adjust the DATE and time of day. You should have the DAY or Month and correct date and your watch will change the DAY, DATE at the proper time also.

How do I set the time and date on my 1440
hi,

You can try this by:

Press and hold the "MODE" button (top left) until the alarm time begins to blink. Use top right button to change from minute to hour etc, and change the value for the setting that is flashing by pressing the bottom right button "SET". Change from alarm to date to time by pressing the upper left button again.

Cant set time
Press and hold the top left button (mode) until the numbers start blinking. On mine this is the alarm time set. Press the mode button one more time to get to time set. The hour will be blinking. Press top right button (start/stop) to cycle through hour, minute, date, etc. and press bottom right button (adjust) to change the number which is flashing. Press mode to finish

Time and Location
If you hold in the light, start and the reset button for a few seconds a screen will appear with the 12h or 24 h clock setting and also the date and country.

Once you have that screen if you press the mode button it will move over the date and clock etc then you just press the reset button and start button to choose the date and time.

Once you have changed the date and time to the correct date press the light button, start button and reset button and it will save the settings.

hold the left, bottom button (marked ....) for a few seconds....then press the top right button (marked with 1 dot) to change between the hour, minute, date etc. use the bottom right button to advance the flashing number, and when finished setting time and date, use the bottom left button to stop the numbers flashing and return the watch to normal. hope this helps,
